Matakulaih TIKPF dikembangkan berlandaskan pada kerangka koseptual TPCK (technological pedagogical content knowledge) yang dikembangakan oleh Mishra dan Koehler (2006).

Setelah mengikuti matakuliah TIKPF, mahasiswa akan memiliki kompetensi mengintegrasikan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi ke dalam pembelajaran fisika, dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran.
